"Cupid's Delight was formed in 1999 after I discovered a passion for cake decorating in 1997 when planning a surprise wedding anniversary for my parents. I thought I would attempt making a wedding cake so together with my grandfather we tried to make a wedding cake for my parents. After receiving so many comments on the cake I decided it was time to take a career change from Accounting to cake decorating. There was something magical about bringing people together at a party and celebrating it with a cake. I began cake decorating as a hobby and in 2001 commenced cake decorating on a part-time basis. I was then given an opportunity by "Food" by Christopher Hiller to make Christmas cakes and it was here that my career in cake decorating began and my work as an Assistant Accountant ended. In 2002 we established our Hamilton Hill showroom and 5 years on my team of cake decorators and I create memorable and exquisite cakes.
We are a young and vibrant business with fresh and innovative ideas. Our cakes are an art, a creation for every individual, and the taste of our cakes - truly decadent. For myself, the most fulfilling part is receiving feedback from our customers which is extremely rewarding and satisfying."
