Cake for Melanie Greensmith from Wheels & Dollbaby

Julia and the team at Cupid's Delight were very honoured and proud to be a sponsor for this year's Perth Fashion Festival. 

Julia designed a spectacular 4 tier cake for Melanie pictured right.

Melanie Greensmith is an international fashion designer originally from Perth.  Inspired by the Orphans boutique Melanie started her own chain "Wheels and Dollbaby"  The perth store opened on King Street this week. She has dressed the likes of Bob Dylan, Kate Moss, INXS, Gwen Stefani, Pink, Kate Hudson, Michael Jackson, Pamela Anderson, Sadie Frost and Debbie Harry.

To celebrate Melanie's sucess and her designs, Julia created a cake with her beautiful fabrics and designs hand painted on the cake. The top tier had a hand made  "Wheels and Dollbaby" logo out of icing.

Completed cake, bottom tier hand painted leopard print featuring Melanie in the leopard print dress. 3rd tier hand painted lace work, 2nd tier Marie Antoniette fabric and top tier with design inspiration from Melanie's bows.
